Liputan6.com, Jakarta - Unit Pelaksana Teknis (UPT) Taman Hutan Raya (Tahura) Raden Soerjo belum akan membuka jalur pendakian Gunung Arjuno-Welirang pasca-kebakaran hebat. Meskipun kobaran api telah padam total, potensi bahaya lanjutan seperti pohon tumbang dan tanah longsor masih mengintai para pendaki.

Kepala UPT Tahura Raden Soerjo, Agustiningtyas Marani, mengungkapkan bahwa tim di lapangan masih terus melakukan asesmen menyeluruh, khususnya pada aspek keamanan lintasan pendakian gunung di Jawa Timur tersebut.

"Kebakaran memang sudah padam, tetapi di beberapa jalur masih sangat rawan. Banyak pohon rapuh sisa terbakar yang rawan tumbang. Ada satu pohon berukuran besar yang posisinya persis di samping jalur utama," ujar Tyas, Jumat (6/11/2026).

Selain bahaya pohon lapuk, petugas juga menyoroti potensi pergeseran tanah. Suhu ekstrem akibat kebakaran diduga merusak struktur tanah di area puncak, membuatnya menjadi gembur dan rawan longsor saat dilintasi.

"Di jalur bagian atas (pucuk) kondisinya sempit. Jika tanahnya gembur dan dipaksa dilintasi, dikhawatirkan terjadi pergeseran tanah ke bawah yang membahayakan keselamatan," tambahnya.

Seluruh hasil asesmen lapangan nantinya akan menjadi penentu kebijakan, apakah pohon-pohon rawan tersebut perlu ditebang demi keamanan atau dapat dipertahankan. Tyas menegaskan, keselamatan nyawa pendaki merupakan prioritas mutlak di atas segalanya.

Sebagai informasi, pendakian Gunung Arjuno-Welirang telah ditutup total sejak kebakaran melanda pada 17 Oktober 2026. Hingga saat ini, pihak pengelola belum membuka sistem reschedule atau penjadwalan ulang bagi calon pendaki.

Jika nantinya resmi dibuka kembali, kuota pendakian harian dipastikan tidak berubah, yakni sebanyak 550 orang per hari yang tersebar di empat jalur masuk. Yaitu jalur Sumberbrantas Kota Batu 200 orang per hari, jalur Tretes Kabupaten Pasuruan, 150 orang per hari, jalur Tambaksari Kabupaten Pasuruan 150 orang per hari, dan jalur Lawang Kabupaten Malang 150 orang per hari.
